Visitor asked where to go for nightlife in NWA and the answers 😂

Saw someone in one of the FB groups asking where to go out at night while they're in town for work. Top reply was "everything out here closes at 9" 🙄 lol no. Somebody finally said Dickson Street and then it turned into a long list of Rogers bars, which, fine, but the guy is staying here!! 😅

I know Dickson isn't for everybody, but a regular Thursday night down there is a good time 🎸🍻 George's, the patios, people walking up and down, Walton Arts Center letting out. Game weekend is a different animal though. Red shirts, the Hog calls echoing off every building, a line out the door for everything 🐗😂 I'd tell a visitor to go on a non-game night or just embrace the chaos.

What would you tell someone passing through? I'm thinking Razorback Greenway ride in the afternoon 🚴 then the Square for dinner, then Dickson for a drink or live music 🎶 Anybody got a favorite spot that's actually good on a weeknight? Always looking to send people somewhere new 🙌

the "closes at 9" thing is kind of true for coffee shops, which is my one real complaint about this town. half of them are done by 6 or 7. the bars are a different story.

your plan is what i'd tell anybody. greenway in the afternoon, dinner on the square, then dickson. weeknight is the right call because you can actually hear the band at george's and still talk. i'd tell a visitor to skip driving down there and just uber, especially if walton arts center is letting out.

game weekend i stay over on the east side by gulley park and don't go near dickson. the line for a cheeseburger alone isn't worth it.

Ha ok the coffee shop thing is fair 😂☕ I've had a 4:30 "just one more cup" turn into a locked door more than once. Might be the one place the 9pm joke has some truth to it.

Uber tip is a good one, parking down there on a Thursday with Walton letting out is its own sport 🚗😅 And Gulley Park on a game weekend is smart, I usually do a long walk on the trails and a smoker day at home 🔥🥩 Let the red shirts have Dickson, we'll have the quiet side of town 🐗🙌

Still hoping someone has a weeknight spot I haven't tried though... anybody??
